Post buying for equality
the hrc has developed a buyers guide for shoppers. This is based on how the company treats its lbgt employees. I guess a boycott list is up and coming, but for the meanwhile i think this might help. Its time to start voting with out dollar.

well instead of just one day, it should be a long term boycott. But after going over the list of companies in the buyers guide. There are still many on the good list that I would not buy from due to other unscrupulous activity. I am sitting in a meeting wit wise 37, maybe we should team up with them to create a ethical consumption guide for student shoppers. Its not for the GSA, but ethical shopping for our world overall. Ethical shopping considers, fair trade, treatment of workers, and how are they spending their money ( like are the spending it for prop h8)? There was some talk of teaming up with wise37 on something like a year ago , but nothing ever came of it. How about teaming up with other clubs for ethical consumerism now?

That sounds Fine. The list though, should be posted on here, And I know not just one day, but one day will make a difference, and we get others invovled as well. If it was a certain day every month or something. What do you think would be a good way to go about it with WISE?
